The purpose of this card
Auckland Arts Festival and British Council are committed to supporting professional development in the sector. We believe viewing high quality international and New Zealand art works is essential for artists and arts administrators’ professional development.
Who is the card for?
The British Council Auckland Arts Festival Industry Card is available to professional artists, technicians and arts administrators working for New Zealand based arts companies, cooperatives, ensembles, or as self-employed professional artists.

A limited number of British Council Auckland Arts Festival Industry Cards are available.

This offer is not open to people working full-time for local or central government or institutions such as universities, arts councils, or Council galleries and venues.
What are the benefits?

Up to 50% discount, on one ticket only per performance, to 2017 Auckland Arts Festival events on the day of the show, if space is available.

How can I get it?
If you are an arts professional who meets the above criteria and you are interested in a British Council Auckland Arts Festival Industry Card, please download and complete the questionnaire HERE and email it together with a passport-sized digital photograph of yourself to: RSVP@aaf.co.nz (subject line BC AAF ARTS INDUSTRY CARD).
Applications close on Friday 17 February 2017. Eligibility is assessed on the applicant's answers to the questions. Please note the decision regarding eligibility by the Festival panel is final – no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
Applications will be processed late February 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by email and will be able to pick up their British Council Auckland Arts Festival Industry Card from Tuesday 7 March 2017 from the Festival office, and then from Wednesday 8 March 2017 onwards from the Festival Info Booth (Festival Garden, Aotea Square).
Important: The British Council Auckland Arts Festival Industry Card will need to be presented at the point of ticket purchase and again at the door of the show.
